Meet the Team

Director and Facilitator

Emilia Power comes with a palpable zest and sense of humour when it comes to working with children and young people. Emilia is known for ‘getting it’ and is frequently told by children and teenagers, ‘you understand us.’

This understanding of young people has come through an ever-deepening commitment to seeing and appreciating people beyond what they do and achieve.

Emilia’s vast experience includes: primary school teacher across all year levels, working directly with families as a babysitter and nanny, integration aide, direct care worker in the youth justice system and a youth development worker with teenagers who have experienced homelessness.
